As revealed by the lyrics this song's about that first circle of friends. That impenetrable crew that ultimately dissolves because somebody dies, ODs, goes to jail, in-fighting et cetera. It is, in my estimation, one of those tunes where you get the spirit right from the first time you hear it. If there's a single punk rock bone in your body you're sure to dig this song. Cheers!

lyrics
Do you remember back in the day when everyone around was like the best of mates!?
Good beer, good weather punk rock and skinhead youth, never had bad blood between us nothing to prove
Then the year came when things changed/we grew apart we went our own ways/broke off and did more cool and foolish things never shoulda disunited, should have let things BE!
Do you remember when we would play oi! music on the traintracks, cans of spraypaint!?
Always drunk always testin our luck with a 9mm in a hetero truck!
Children Of The Day have run away Children Of The Day have gone astray
we were the best of mates / traintracks cans of spraypaint
Do you remember back in the day when we would see TxFxLx down at club pompeii?
Underage drinking and a circle pit, then came Vulgar Youth those days were the shit!
Do you remember back in the day when we would score from hodgie then hit jerry and craigs?
Pub scouts, Shadow Army, Sk8er kids then triple bitch called the cops and killed the magic!
Then the year came we betrayed/ we grew apart we went our own ways/broke off and did more cool and foolish things/never shoulda disunited, should have let things BE!
